Debbie started her career as an agent for one of the largest managed healthcare companies in the country, FHP (now, UHC). After several years of success, and multiple achievement awards, she decided she could better serve her clients as an independent Heath Insurance Broker. In 1991, D&S Insurance Services was formed as a highly specialized, boutique firm. Based on Debbie's core principles of Dependability and Service, D&S has been dedicated to transparency, service, and education for over 25 years. Debbie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and a Masters in Public Administration (Magna Cum Laude) from California State University, Fullerton.

Peter began his career at D&S in 1998 as part of the Sales and Marketing team. Tasked with new business development, sales, and presentation of data, Peter created a marketing mix designed around a consultative selling strategy. His commitment to education and service eventually moved him into Account Management, where he could continue to help and serve clients and their employees on a daily basis. A decade later Peter moved into Operations where his skills as a team leader, organizational strategist, and customer service advocate were better suited to help with the daily operations at D&S. Peter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management, and is also a Reserve Firefighter.
